Midland has a busy, thriving downtown shopping area, and was featured in the October 2011 edition of Canada's "Style at Home" magazine - with Little Lake Inn being the recommended accommodation. It has retained it's old-town feel; many of the shops have their original wooden squeaky floors and tin ceilings. There are many unique gift shops, from Antique to Country to several home decor stores and exclusive ladieswear shops. Please check our 'Walking Guide to Shopping Downtown' under Shops/Dining.
History on the Walls - take the mural tour and enjoy over 30 historic murals that depict the people and events that shaped the community, including the largest historic outdoor mural in North America, located across the harbour at downtown Midland. Brochures on the mural tour and downtown shops are available here.
